deep, rich hues of red, gold, orange, brown filling the atmosphere, a nice, big, steamy mug of some sweet, savory drink, cozy hoodies, fuzzy socks, chunky sweaters, silly costumes, fleecy sweat pants, crunchy leaves, crisp air, toasty comforters, homemade pies, chubby pumpkins, and somber turkeys. all these mark my favorite time of the year.

yes, i am quite aware it's been two weeks since the official start of fall...i state the obvious like it's my job. just like how i worry about the inevitable like my job. randomness aside, i love love love everything about this weather. it's the perfect weather, not too hot or cold, right in between. sadly, it doesn't stick around long enough. before you know it, dreary winter decides to crash the autumnal party and cover err thang and (most) err body in a thick, white blanket otherwise known as the dreaded snow. sigh.
alright, enough bout my rant. i realized this post was long overdue. since pictures can explain more than i ever could, here's a couple to chew on.

#6-God the Father's ever-abundant grace and love. grace&love. what two sweet words. grace, being given something i don't deserve. and His love....His love, wow. i don't think i could ever, ever fully fathom the love He showers upon me. it's because He loves me, He extends His grace to me. why the Father chooses to reach out to somebody like me is so mind blowing. i could spend ages talking about it and still not comprehend it all. but of course if i could understand it all with my limited and finite mind, He wouldn't really be God, would He...incomprehensible love. whew.
