Words Are Not Enough

"I will praise you O Lord, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever." (Psalm 86:12)
If you've been following my blog for a bit, you'll know I used to put out monthly playlists. You'll also know that I rarely dedicate a post on a single song. In fact, I'm sure I've only done it once. (Bonus brownie points if you can remember what song it was. If not, you can read about it here.) Recently, however, I rediscovered a beautiful worship song called "Listen to Our Hearts" covered by Koo Chung and Tim Be Told that I believe is worth mentioning. The lyrics are so well written, especially the chorus bit (So listen to our hearts / Hear our spirit sing / A song of praise that flows / From those You have redeemed / We will use the words we know / To tell You what an awesome God You are / But words are not enough to tell You of our love / So listen to our hearts.) If you have a couple minutes to spare, I'd highly, highly suggest for you to click the play button.

When I think about it, and I mean, really think about it, how do I go about thanking Him for the Ultimate Gift? Redeemed from our wretched selves and a life of shame. No tongue can articulate the immense gratitude of being safe. Saved.

Delivered. Loved. Grateful. Let my heart sing.

P.S.-On another note, thank you all for the encouraging words on my last post. They mean the world to me.
